The fourth quarter of 2022 saw significant activity in the personal finance budgeting and planning app category on Android in Egypt. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five apps: CashKateb, Kaching - Money manager, المصاريف, كم باقي لي؟, and Cash Book- daily expenses.

CashKateb from Cassbana B.V. had a notable quarter with weekly downloads peaking at 20.5K in the week of October 24. However, downloads saw a significant drop toward the end of the quarter, reaching 1.8K in the final week of December. Weekly active users also fluctuated, starting at 20.3K at the beginning of the quarter and peaking at 39K in mid-October before declining to 26.3K by the end of December.

Kaching - Money manager by Optomatica experienced varying download trends. The app saw a peak in weekly downloads at 2.9K in the week of October 24 and ended the quarter with downloads rising to 2.8K in the last week of December.

Weekly downloads saw a high of 2.1K in mid-November but generally hovered around the 1K mark. Active users showed growth from 5.7K at the start of the quarter to 6.2K by the end of December.

كم باقي لي؟ by Kambaqi experienced a significant increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter. Weekly downloads peaked at 2.2K in the final week of December, up from a low of 390 in late October.

Cash Book- daily expenses, developed by ANKIT SARAF, saw a steady increase in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads peaked at 1K in early December, while active users grew from 2.4K at the start of the quarter to 3.3K by the end of December.
